You may have noticed that The Veg Patch is all about Children!

We have carefully chosen each product to have a purpose, some educational, some for family time, some to help entertain the children on those wet days and some just for the fun of it!

But with a website focused around our children, it makes sense to also think about the planet we are leaving them.

With that in mind, where possible we are working with our suppliers to reduce our consumption of plastic waste. We have worked hard to source recyclable packing materials. We even ask that you keep the packaging encase you want to send it back to us. Or even more fun if you have ordered something large, turn the box into a Castle or Secret Den.

We have also where possible removed plastic toys from our website. There are still a few where we feel there is a real purpose for it, but when we build our ranges for our customers this is at the forefront of our mind, and we plan to keep it this way.

We know that protecting our environment also requires us to educate our children, so you will also find some great books on our site, one of our favourites is the Big Green activity book great for kids but also we bet the adults will learn something too!!
